he's certainly one of my favourites. sadly, i don't own any of his work, so i haven't read into his work as deeply as i want to. however, next payday i'm making a trip to the book store where i'm hoping a copy of 'walden' lays in wait for me. =]]

Walden is good. I haven't read too deeply, either. I read about 1/3 of Walden a few years ago, more since then, and parts of his Journal and Essays. Walden is quite possibly my favorite though, from what I've read. I did 2 or 3 projects on him recently. He's the best. His mentor Ralph waldo Emerson is really nice too. WOW! I'm so glad you're interesting.

heheh, don't be fooled, i hate reading. I'm extremely picky about everything i read ever. i mainly like to read nonfiction. right now i'm reading the original alice in wonderland story with the weird intricate illustrations. it's a lot different from the movie. aside from that, i pretty much only read chuck palahniuk and thoreau, and a few other philosophershere and there. and that's only every once in a while. with the occasional good book of course.
