Can you update Conk-mira? I'm sure you're aware that the weather doesn't work.

Hey,
not really... I haven't done much customizing lately and still have pretty much the same setup ([link] ). Probably because I simply like it, dunno if that's a good or a bad thing!
Well, there will come a time when I release something new.

can't wait for your next release!
PS: change is never a bad thing, no?

Hi, I don't use mrxvt.
Currently I'm using terminator ([link] ). You can find my config here: [link]
On my older screenshots here on dA I used urxvt, here are my Xdefaults: [link]

Hey, ~sen7
I was wondering if you could help me? I installed your Mira conky, is there any way I can get it on the right side instead? Can I adjust the size (a little bigger)? My next concern is the link in the readme.txt about the weather conky. I'm not sure it's still active, If it is I don't understand it. I would just ignore the link and type my location but I'm not sure if it wants the city & state or maybe some kind of coordinate. Sorry for taking up so much space!

I think there may be a problem with conky-mira since you re-upped. No matter the method I am continually extracting empty Mira_color folders though it seems like the others, fonts, scripts, etc are okay. Thanks for all your nice work!

Which conky are you trying to install?

sen7 In reply to chadrm9 [2009-04-02 05:19:36 +0000 UTC]
Ah, sry about that. The files are hidden: Conky-Mira/Mira_*/.conkyrc_*
Just set your filemanager to display hidden files ("strg+h" in most cases).

Oh, I wish you the best of luck on your dissertation and the job applications! It probably won't be easy these days but please have confidence in yourself, if you persistently search for an employment it will work out. Ich drΓΌck dir auf jeden Fall die Daumen!

I'm alright, no need to worry and I hope you are doing fine as well mate!
At the moment rl stuff and friends are keeping me busy - I've spent alot of time on my motorcycle (want it ready when the weather becomes better), watching anime and on some other projects (DIY beamer, ThinClient router/firewall...) as well.
I'll definitely become more active on dA again (still have to finish three themes anyway)! 24 hours a day are just not enough... ^^

Great! sounds like you are having a lot of fun! I have got my hands full as well! Writing my dissertation, gotta finish a couple of papers, and start sending resumes to find a job. Given today's economic situation, i am totally scared! Will see how it goes! So you are a motorcycle buff? Great! And tell me about the weather. Its awful! Damn, a few days before the clock is turned forward, and we still have such shitty weather! And watching anime never gets old! its one of the biggest stress buster for me too, the other is my girlfriend! But she is in Japan right now finishing her Studienarbeit, and will be back by the end of May. Take your time with the themes mate! I am sure the themes will kick ass as usual! Have a great time then and we will see us around!

Hey, haven't had a chance to log onto icq. I was just wondering, if you have any tips about getting Arch Linux running. I keep trying to install it and when I get to the end of the setup and try and log into X. It keeps telling me that "startx: command not found." This is probably something easily fixed, but I simply cannot find out why it's doing this. Also, I see a lot of people (especially skinners) running Arch, why is this? What is so good about Arch? Well this message is long enough, hope to hear from you soon!

sen7 In reply to Muffsdawg [2009-04-08 11:03:20 +0000 UTC]
Sry for the late reply! You probably need to install "xorg-xinit".
Hm, I think that arch is a pretty good distro for the (home-)desktop and laptops. It's very up to date, customizable and minimalistic so it attracts people who like to tinker with their systems for fun (themers are this kind of people as well). In the end it doesn't really matter which linux flavour you choose though, since you can pretty much accomplish the same things with every distro if you have some time on your hands and knowledge about linux.
