I hope beauty chases you while you chase it, and that wonder and majesty leave your quest for glory very successful. I hope you find many fun things to do, many wonderful sights to see, and many extraordinary people with whom to interact in positive ways. May the unexpected always turn out to be good. I hope this year is one of successful efforts to improve, new friendships made, old friendships renewed, and may you and those you love have a wonderful ride together around the sun in the year beginning with this HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

May you find this a year of solid accomplishment, of a strong and justified sense of vindication in all that you do. May you never grow so firm in your convictions that you become immune to reason, may you never grow so flexible that your backbone disappears. May you face courtesy with courtesy, honesty with honor, and never allow yourself to become soiled by the vileness of a cause or opposition. Remember what you believe and that for which you are fighting, welcome a repentant brother, be just as a implacable as the grimmest foe. Rejoice in victory, heal from defeat, rise from both to fight with all you have to offer again. A very happy birthday to you--and may you be ever a Happy Warrior.

The Wound! that's what brought me here...
Becasue of the title, and because of the Pagan imagery of Cernunnos (so it wasn't a category in your poll)
the reason's quite abstract I'd say...
Chiron was a centaur... he was a very gifted healer, but he has a wound that would never heal.
In Astrology Chiron represents the something of that idea... that each person has an emotional/psychological wound they cannot heal for themselves... but they can heal others of that exact same wound...
Such Exquisite ART!

Hey, Jess! It's been a long time. *hug* I've been trying to look you up for a long time now.
There's only two pieces in your gallery right now and I hope we get to see your fantastic art again soon.
You're awesome.

Kelly!!! *massiveHugGlompTackle* It's so good to hear from you! Really great. I hope you have been well. And yeah, the gallery got put away for now, art theft blows. I'm working on things though.
You're awesome too, I love the stuff in your gallery, still great to see the Snape art as well, ha.

Your pieces are all in storage? I will refrain from 'removing them from favorites' at any cost cause I know they'll come back. What happened though?

Yeah sorry, put them in storage a while ago in reaction to a new round of art and concept theft. Nothing new really except perhaps my weariness with it. I know it doesn’t really actually fix anything but it’s the only thing I actually do have control over. And thank you, yes, perhaps someday I’ll feel like putting it back up again.

Maybe find a website that has a security controls with watermarks. Go to NeneThomas.com, Jonathan E. Bowser's Goddess art site, RuthThompson.com, Robert Lynn Nelson site, JosephineWall.com and just look around at what they've done to protect their works with encoded, embedded watermarks, corner page curls and other tactics. I'd hate to see your work disappear forever cause of some crazy fucker over seas taking your works. Even though your works are digital, maybe place a 'real pencil' to the side of the art to give that extra protection? There are ways to keep the works from being taken. Talk to some website developers and see what they can do for you. *HUGS* Also, would love it if you could....put all your best works into a professionally printed art book. That way people like myself can hold your works in safety forever on our shelves. Love you.

Thank you for your suggestions and concerns. Very kind of you. I will say that straight across image theft is less of the issue though. That’s been a little less difficult to deal with and usually more straight forward to remedy. It’s the concept theft that’s really demoralizing because it is so difficult to prove often and so hard to actually get anything done about it. The messages I’ve gotten from people who are doing this and know they are doing this have been quite awful too. They know they are doing wrong but they know I can’t do anything about it and find it great fun to taunt me. It’s just been years of very negative experiences now having the things I love and hold dear bastardized and twisted. I’ve always held that the best defense against this is to stay active, keep creating and keep innovating. They’ll never keep up. That’s not so possible for me anymore with my rising health issues, so I’m even less tolerant to see my years worth of work picked through like a personal shopping market for art thieves. Worn to a nub by it and very weary unfortunately. I’ve found it a great relief to my nerves to put it all away for now, perhaps when I’m stronger again, I’ll be able to bring it back. Thank you so much for your concern. I’m very flattered anybody would even want my works in an actual book too, that’s very nice to hear, thank you.

*BIG HUGS* Get well soon.....one last thing...have you thought about placing an actual date stamp on the art? Like traditional medium pieces, the artist puts the date and signature on it somewhere on the art. The date could throw them off a bit, even if you put the exact time it was finished, down to the second. Hey, I've never seen that done before, the actual time stamp by the second and minutes. That would be very unique. Give a try and see what happens. *HUGS*
