I just totally love your Karkat cosplay because I swear, you are one of the few Karkat cosplayers around here who actually put effort into his cosplay.
If its cool to ask though, How did you do his teeth and if its better to wear red contacts or yellow contacts when cosplaying him since I see some people wear contacts for him.

Oh wow, thank you do much! I do take a bit of pride in being among the cosplayers who put a lot of effort and time into her cosplay. Plus it's fun, even though it takes like 3 hours for just the make-up. xD
But yeah, I used tooth-black for my teeth. It's hard to apply and it wears off, but it's better than nothing and I can't seem to find the right dentures so it worked for me. You can use the brush that comes with it, but I also brought an eyeliner brush (the wet kind of eyeliner) to apply it since the brush is slimmer. Also have a toothpick in handy since you'll need to correct mistakes when applying. It's really hard and takes some practice!
For my last photoshoot, which was the Hipsterstuck one, I didn't use any contact lenses. That's because for some reason they were broken (there was some sort of yellow'ish glob in the contact containers and I didn't dare putting them in after that!;; But that also serves as a reminder that contact lenses don't last forever and you'll have to replace them once in a while. Usually they only last a month or two. ) I usually use a pair of yellow ones to give the effect of having yellow eyes. Because there's no way I could ever afford sclera lenses. Make sure they look sort of realistic because otherwise it'll look silly. I recommend using lenses, it gives a nice finish and it's a cool detail. :>

It's worth it, though. The stares you get from non-cosplayers alone is worth all the effort! xD
Oh, I just bought it from an online store. It was a Danish one since it made shipment faster and cheaper, but I'm pretty sure you can find something in online costume stores. It's rather popular so it shouldn't be that hard to find.
Yeah, I could do that. The reason why I got those was because they could ship from within Denmark so it was cheap and incredibly fast shipping (if it wasn't obvious by now I live in Denmark! ) Well, to me the yellow lenses work the best. I use them for the yellow eyes effect and I wouldn't know if the same effect could work with red lenses. I think it's up to you whether you want the focus on the red in Karkat's eyes or the yellow, since you can't really have both. I prefer yellow, but it's pretty much a matter of what suits your tastes the most. If you like red best, just use red. (:

I saw your amazing hipsterstuck Karkat and I was wondering a few things because it looks amazing and I'm going to cosplay him later not hipsterstuck but just regular agh I'm rambling.
Okay, so my questions are
If it's a wig, where'd you get it?
What'd you use for make-up?
Where did you get the ears?
What did you make the horns out of?
And if you have fake sharp teeth, where did you get them?

It is indeed a wig. I got it on ebay, but I never really make sure to remember the seller. I usually just browse for one that I like. The critical part is to go for the ones made in Japanese synthetic fiber and the sellers who shows a lot of different pictures of the same wig. Also check the sellers for feedback.
I got the ears like 7 years ago for an elven costume for Halloween. I just bought them in a Live Role Playing shop in Denmark and then I painted them grey with my normal skin paint. They're terrible quality so I suggest you buy some better ones. You can get them easily in online stores.
I made the horns out of paper clay. After I'd got the shape I wanted I used a barbecue knife to scrape some grooves in them for a more "horn-like" look. I bought three different acrylic colours with natural shine in them, one yellow, one orange and one red and then mixed it to the three shades I wanted to use. It's hard to see the original colours in the pictures, but they're there. I fit them on with hair pins, but I'd rather have used a head band underneath the wig and then screws through the wig up in the horn, since my own kept sliding out of place.. Makes them fit better and look natural. I think there's tutorials for that somewhere.
I did have sharp teeth. I had been looking for a seller who sold dentures with sharp teeth, but couldn't find any in time. They look good though. I used normal tooth blackener, which works fine, but is very hard to apply and wears off kind of easily so before a shoot you'll want to re-freshen the paint.
Also as a side note, for the print on the Karkat shirt, try and buy some iron-on prints for black shirts. Follow the instructions, print out the Cancer symbol, cut it out and iron it on the black shirt. It makes the print for the shirt look super sharp! Like this [link] Plus you'll be able to wash it after use because you cannot, and I mean cannot, avoid getting grey paint on your shirt at some point.

Also yeah, I was planning on doing an iron-on print. If you find a person that sells the dentures, do you think you could throw me a link? Thanks! Oh, one more question. Do you use acrylics for your skin or some sort of make-up? I was thinking of getting air-brush make up for mine.

You're welcome! c: Model Magic is very much the same as paper clay I've heard. We just can buy it where I live. I think it should work just fine. Okay, it's just that many people take up the challenge of painting it on and not only is it super hard, but also equally hard to make it look good. If I find it I'll post a link. :> I use body paint from Ben Nye and I seal it with a Neutral Set powder, also from Ben Nye. You can buy that online. The air-brush paint should be really neat and make it look very even on the skin so if you use that I think it'd look great!
