# About me
I knew since the 2nd grade that I wanted to be an artist. Coming from a family of artists, this wasn't a hard decision. I received formal training at Propersi Institute for Fine Art in Greenwich, CT and Graphic Design instruction at SUNY, Purchase. This was just the beginning of my life-long training. The “school of hard knocks” and “on the job training” has been the biggest asset to my education, giving me experience in all of the traditional mediums as well as becoming most proficient in computer graphics, specifically Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. I have a passion for servicing my clients' creative needs and bringing concepts to living color. Having a chance to create something more than the ordinary is what drives me. My artwork is as varied in subject matter as it is in medium. I like to explore the possibilities of a new medium and I like my work to be fun in addition to being well-rendered.Acrylic painting is my medium of choice when possible. It’s versatility conveys itself whether used as impasto, smooth graduated blends on canvas, or as a thin wash creating a watercolor effect. I enjoy that I can use it on many surfaces such as canvas, clothes and detailed work on paper, multi-media collages, outdoor signs, murals and specialty artisan projects. It’s quick drying
capabilities satisfies my instant gratification yearnings.
With 30 years in the printing and advertising industry, my experience as a creative specialist only adds to my long list of skills and talents, giving me a versatility few other artists possess.
Always looking for “what’s next”, I will tackle a new project with vigor and enthusiasm, sometimes collaborating with other artists.
