no problem. your fractals are really good. you have a great eye for form and structure.

funny to go in the music forum after years and recommend rosetta only to see an old thread about them. falljuah are great too if you don't mind the death metal cookie monster type vox. also harakiri for the sky if you don't mind the dumb band name.

Have you thought about octopus and their way of thinking? Octopus seem to have networks of brains rather different than ours. It's easier to think like a dog or a cat than an octopus. For me, I think octopus works like a botnet , but with different person using a computer in a botnet. Interconnected, and sensitive to other computer operation, but each part of the network carries it own operation. Bizarre.

yeah, it would be even more alien than say, a hive insect (which is pretty alien). at least with hive insects, the CNS of the individuals follows a simple logic.
i can't really conceive of a distributed consciousness, like that.
there was a series of books (sci-fi) by an author who's name escapes me at the moment. they were really fascinating, but one of the things were these giant squid the called "Kraken" (for obvious reasons. but the Kraken were an advanced alien species that piloted starships (essentially controlling human trade between the planets). other than that, they had literally nothing to do with humans. but the point was made that it was their particular neural anatomy (multiple brains) that allowed them to pilot at such high speeds, safely.
