# About me

I am just getting back into photography after 14 years of doing other things!
I eventually will learn photoshop, however I prefer to take perfect pictures; seeing that does not happen everytime, I encourage others, if they wish to use my photos and photoshop them for their own non-commercial purposes. If it is used for a commercial purpose, please give credit, where credit is due. Thanks and Happy Trails!

Dreadfully late, I'm not sure someone who has 9000+ hip-hip-hurrays everyday can be expected to return every message quickly.
Thaks for the kind words and the adds for my old pooch!
Keep doing great work with the flowers and nature (yeah my red-blooded american boy likes the 'naughty photos' too!!!).

Keep on Keepin' on!

Yeah I've been meaning to get into the city. I used to go in like every day but I haven't actually been in town in a while. Definitely need to, and get some good pics. The newish Zaykum bridge comes to mind, as well as the common/copley/newbury st area.

Yeah people in Boston are a unique breed. Some very strange stuff goes on here. :-D Where you from?

WEll I guess home is where you hang your hat, right? That makes me a Tallahassee resident of 9 years.
I had a buddy in the Army who was from Boston (lived next to Tufts, I think, is that right?) and went up there in JAn of of 2000 for a long weekend of debauchery.

The answer to your question is that I was born in Memphis and have lived in about 13 different places in 27 years before I settle in Tallahassee.

That's cool. Yeah, Tufts is in Medford, MA, which is where I actually grew up. 7 miles north of Boston. I bet you have some interesting stories from all the places you've lived! I've only lived in Providence and Boston so far but hope to move to NYC once my career as a neuroscientist kicks off :-D

I regret not going into med school.
I took the easy way out and became a lawyer.
My buddy is an internist out in San Fran and loves it. He pulls the graveyard shift with the ER and a week on and week-off schedule for $200k/ year.
Plus when the US goes down the tubes other countries look for doctors as immigrants, never lawyers.

finally I've done something good in my life well, all I can do is wish you luck!

spectator73 In reply to LindaMarieAnson [2008-11-28 01:03:42 +0000 UTC]

Hah, I'm sure you've done a lot of good in life, but have not taken the time to notice it. Or maybe Latvians just don't give compliments really well?
Yeah, I was thinking I really have great a job to do a lot of photography since I travel around the State of Florida prosecuting crimes (boring financial crimes, nothing cool like murders or rapes). All the travel will allow me to constantly explore new scenes with the camera.
My mom is in the process of checking out cameras which would suit my needs the best. Just one more month until Christmas! Yay!!!

Thanks for the wish of luck!
Likewise, I was viewing your "Evening Sky" series and I was very impressed. Was that a natural color or did you use some type of filter? In the old days with film, we would actually get a piece of colored plastic and hold it before the lens! I suppose nowdays you can manipulate it with photoshop, right?

Your photos really prove that you don't need to go far to find beautiful things.

Well, now you know you have me as an admirer, may I also be a critic?
Don't be afraid to say "no."

In any case, thanks!

LindaMarieAnson In reply to spectator73 [2008-11-28 01:21:55 +0000 UTC]

well, maybe I have fed stray cats but I surely haven't inspired anyone at least no one has told me that.

I sometimes I wish I was a crime scene photographer but then again - I don't think I would be able to stand it for long time.
But yes, while traveling you can make tons of photos Funny, how I always find something eye-catching (at least it catches my eyes) all around me without leaving my little town.

speaking of new cameras - too bad I don't have enough money to buy professional camera, I will have to live with semi-professional.
ah evening skies... some photos are made a bit darker or brighter, some are pure and untouched. usually I try not to kill nature photos with filters, I just put emphasis on color, if it's needed. sometimes pics originally are just too... gray

of course, you're free to criticize me. well, I have few critics already around me. sometimes critics can really ruin my mood but in the end I am grown up girl, I can handle it
