When I first started with portraits it was more of a nerves thing for me, but I have a close friend and mentor who lets me shoot in his studio and he has helped me immensely with his wealth of wisdom and knowledge in the area.

I do quite well with candid photos, I think maybe because people aren't usually aware that I'm even taking pictures. And I do need a lot of practice. You're very fortunate to have a mentor, I'm sure you've learned a lot that way.
