Ironically, I don't like that they turned her into such a pinup. For some reason, she's 5-10 years younger, her face is more filled out, and she generally looks like a model instead of a normal person who has been mistreated and locked in a testing facility. I mean, she doesn't even look like the same character. I haven't had the opportunity to play yet, so I don't know if they have some silly explanation for it, but it bothers me they fell into the "all female leads must be supermodels" pit.

But despite that one complaint I can't at all tell you that Portal 2 is a bad game. It's fantastic. Could easily be Game of the Year. Not only that, the price has already gone down on it. Makes me wish I had waited but I didn't want the story spoiled for me.

There is an article floating around on the net about why they thought Chell needed a redesign. It's all kind of BS but it boils down roughly to "Portal was unexpectedly successful, but the main character is too ugly, we need to make her hot so she can be more marketable."

We (me and Nathan) were planning on working from home and starting a website - we have all the equipment we need between the two of us. But he's been very sick for months and as I said I keep getting stuck when working on my own music.
Art/music/writing is very frustrating and makes me unhappy more often than happy, but I don't want to do anything else for a career, so I'm in a bad situation.
