I think it's also the area where I live. Most people here love techno, and while it's fun once in awhile, the metal most people listen to is like... bullet for my valentine & nonsense like that.

I actually have a goal of going to finland, sweden and norway the summer after I graduate college. I want to hit up every metal festival in the summer

But good luck with your plans, hope you get to realize them! Tuska is one of my favorite festivals, even though it's agonizingly expensive The festivals in Sweden and Norway (and actually all of Europe...) are way cheaper and cost-effective, hehe x)

I need to meet more girls like that, haha. Which is why I was so thrilled to meet someone from a place I've always wanted to go to where good music comes from And you take phenomenal photos as well.
I hope I get to realize them, as well! I've heard all of Scandinavia is expensive :/ I'd also like to go to Wacken some day, as cliché as that sounds. On a random note, I tried to teach myself a bit of Finnish, but I'm pretty bad >.<

I'd love to go to Wacken someday too, I've yet to have the chance though :/ Always too damn poor to book flights etc. Maybe when I win the lottery
And Finnish is a tough language to learn, so much grammar it kills you! (It's also why most of us are manic-depressive haha)

(Sorry it's taken me so long to reply! I do that with text messages on my phone... read them, answer them in my head then panic later when I discover I didn't physically answer. D'oh)
I'm too damn poor to fly overseas, too. I want to visit my family in Holland this summer, but that all depends if I can save up in time. If you win that lottery, let me know and we can go to Wacken and maybe you'll buy me a few drinks, haha
Finnish sounds complicated, and I can't figure out the grammar to save my life.. it would make me manic depressive too, lol.
