Very Very nice gallery..

and i'm glad you like my quote..it is from my favorite little piece by james casanova:
"I will not die an unlived life. I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me, to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise. I choose to risk my significance; to live so that which comes to me as seed goes to the next as blossom and that which comes to me as blossom, goes on as fruit."

enjoy and have a wonderful day!

Thanks for the "late welcome" I'm gonna add you to my devwatch because I don't wanna miss any of your Label Project pics Oh, and my brother is dating a girl whose name is Marisa (pronounced just like your name ). It's the short version of "Maria Isabel" Take care!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 0

-marysia- [2004-02-18 12:16:13 +0000 UTC]

...not that uncommon actually, I get it a lot! its pronounced "mar-ee-sha". Awesome gallery you've got here! Where in BC are you?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

unnoticed In reply to -marysia- [2004-02-18 18:07:39 +0000 UTC]

My name is Maresa pronounced "Mar-ee-sa" and I haven't met or known many people with a similar name to mine, so that's why your user name caught my eye! I always have thought that my name should be spelled "Marysa."

Anyhow, I'm from Vancouver.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

-marysia- In reply to unnoticed [2004-02-20 07:13:17 +0000 UTC]

weird, I've never heard that pronounciation before, just "marissa", until the other day, there's a contestant on american idol named "marysa" pronounced the same as yours!

Hi there,
Thanx for the great comment on 'flipside', it took me ages and 40 layers to create the god damb thing. If you liked that take a peep at 'passenger' similar kinda thing. Soz I'm to much of a spud to do the savy link thing.

Hope to see you around and thanx again for the time

added you to mi biddies list

Thanks for the great comment on the Weeping Willow shot. Your suggestions were right on the mark! I am going to go back and shoot it again when I get some colour slide film, the digital camera does not do it justice. Right now, I only have black and white and infrared film, so I am going to put this shot on hold for a while. It was pitch black when I took the shot and the light is coming from the distant city and not the setting sun. I will be sure to set the shot up in the daylight by moving the table, then go back at night to shoot it. Thanks again for the great comment!

rain1man [2003-11-18 18:26:36 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much for commenting on my latest. I actually like to set my cam before the shoot to the wished result but tell me a photograph (film or digital) who doesn't make certain adjustments in the darkroom or on the comp.
I just used a Threshlod adjustment layer to find the brightest and the darkest pixel and the three eyedroppers of a curve adjustment layer to fix the exposure and the color.
I did not use any tool to sharpen anything

thank you so much for the wonderful comment on my "Life Still".
hmmm... i defintiely know what you mean about perhaps using a darker fabric. i thought about that... but opted for the tone-on-tone contrast to give an overall feeling of harmony, rather than contrast... but perhaps i will re-shoot for a different effect.
thanks again!!!
