I had to fly from Utah to Florida to get those autographs at METROCON a few years go. I'm still hoping to add Wufei to my autograph collection.
I also cosplay as Lady Une and I have plans for Relena and Noin cosplays in the future

Yay! It's been a dream of mine to cosplay either Trowa or Duo. I really adore Quatre and Heero, too. xD Wufei seems to be so misunderstood in the show. I constantly run into people that think the show would have been so much better without him! D:

I got lucky with the plane ticket, it only cost me about $230 round trip including the checked bag fee and I stayed with a girl I met on the Risembool Rangers forum so I didn't have to pay a lot for the hotel. I haven't been able to afford to do it again though :/

Oh, wow! That IS a lucky shot! I've never been on a plane, sad to say. I've been on a bus, though, but that's because we were going from Missouri to Illinois. (My boyfriend usually goes to cons with me. xD) We've roomed with some people we found on the con forums, and it's been a pleasant experience.
I hope you get to do that again; sounds like a lot of fun!
