It's nice to see a talented Bionicle mocist on here, i really like your work. You combine system with bionicle parts much better than i do, its something i've been working on.

Well thank you. Its true that I have increased my use of system parts in the last few years, but not all my MOCs rely on that blend of the two. System has the distinct advantage of being smaller and more versatile while technic/bionicle.HF is more robust(especially technic). I think the key is to disconnect a title or category and simply evaluate it as a part, "does this part fill the space or have the right shape I need." System is rather limited in its aesthetics though since most of it is angular and blocky. They do have parts that aren't but you have to go out of your way to get them. What I've found is that system's smaller bits are the best things to use for bioMOCing. I'm sure you might have heard the term before, "greebling?" Two other really great Greebler's are   and Check out their work to. And lastly, my advice is to simply observe and then try stuff out, you might just find your own unique designs by tinkering and experimenting. The nice thing is if it don't work out, lego comes apart.

thanks man, i love feedback and stuff. i think im gonna put up some of my mocs on here soon, i have a bit of a wealth accumulated over the years. the thing with me is that i don't have alot of room, but i do have alot of lego bits... my system is stored in a different location from my tech/bio/hf/whatever, so i don't really get the opportunity to try stuff out. Always a pleasure to hear greeble from someone else, i love that word... with luck i'll get all my pieces together eventually...

Oh nice. So you don't have a shortage of parts? See, shouldn'ta told me that, now you can't use it as an excuse for sucking. The pressure is really on now. You've got parts, so make some cool MOCs.
