i'm a college student right now. i used to volunteer at a zoo and now i volunteer at an aquarium. i don't work directly with animals but i do get to spend a lot of time around them. :) (Smile)

Thats really cool, your lucky. Thats what I'm going to college for, Zoology. I love animals. It may sound corny, but for some reason animals like me and always come to me. My goal was to work with animals and also get into photographing and take pic's of the animals and sell the pic's and also draw them and sell them too, as a hobby. Keep up the good work!

haha, thats funny. Thats what I was going to go for, But I've never been to the ocean before and marine biology is very common and hard to get into, so I thought there would be a very low chance that I would be able to get in to it, I switched to zoology. :) (Smile)

i was thinking of doing zoology too because i want to go to vet school and hopefully work with wild animals later, but i really wanted to go to UC Santa Cruz and they don't have zoology, so i chose my first love (marine bio, lol) over the zoology program i got into at UC Santa Barbara.

what are your career plans?

I love dolphins, they are such amazing animals, so ever since I was a little girl I wanted to work with them. But where I'm from there is none, I've never even seen one in person. So it would be hard for me to take a career on soemthing I've never experianced before, so I switched to zoology. I love all animals but I don't know what exactly I want to get in to pacifically. I would do anything as long as I'm working with the animals. No vivisection or animal testing! Any thing but that.
Though right now I'm just at a community college getting my basics done and then I'll transfer to a university (don't know which one yet), its cheeper that way.

i love dolphins, too. community college is a good plan, i hope you find the perfect school to transfer to! maybe you'll find one in a state where there are dolphins :) (Smile)

That would be nice to be in a state that has dolphins near by, but I dought it that it would happen. I'm going to have to tansfer soon, I'm runing out of classes here to take. Trying to fill up for next semester. I need 12 credits and only have 10 right now. If I transfer to a college in a different state, I would have to wait a year till I can get in to a college, and it would cost much more from being in a different state. Plus I'm haveing a hard time finding a university to transfer to, don't want to be too far away because of my boyfriend.
