I'm not actually sure if Bruce and Ivy hooked up at one point but I thought they'd make a pretty cute couple.
As for Ash and Artie, it's a long story. Theirs was a forbidden love (since Artie was the goddess of chastity), it didn't go so well. She was still selfish and childish which resulted in a lot of bad blood between them. But in the picture, I wanted them to look happy together. So yeah, you could say they're in love.. at least in my version of them.

Yeah, it's an arc in the Dark Hunter series (see: book list ).
It's a complicated series though; storylines left and right, lots of supernatural beings and "rules".
To tell you the truth, I've grown distant from the books. I'm not loving them as much as I used to, but I'm too attached to Artie and Ash to let these two go.

I probably just gave you my bias summary though, other DH fans would rip Artie a new one whenever they tell the story. She is not well liked in the fandom, oh well, I like standing up for her anyway (someone's got to).

Summary of just the important parts I think, I think this is a pretty unbiased retelling, if I do say so myself:
Ash was a sex slave when they met. Artemis was the first woman he was attracted to. And He was the first man to ever attract (the goddess of chastity) Artemis and probably the only one who wasn't afraid to stand up to her (because he wasn't afraid to die). They sort of fell into this secret relationship. Ash was her first friend, as well as first lover. Ash loved the idea of being loved and wanted but longed to be acknowledged as her lover. But Artie was ashamed of him (because he was a human slave) and afraid of her pantheon and of her brother Apollo (compared to the others she wasn't very powerful).
Fast forward to the time they found out that Ash was not a mortal man but an Atlantean god. He was a threat to her pantheon and she resolved to kill him. She drugged him but could not kill him, unfortunately that night was also the night someone who broke into their home and killed Ash's sister and nephew (who was Apollo's mistress and son), because he was drugged he could not protect them.
Then the very next day Artemis watched as her brother, Apollo, gutted Ash because of his anger.
But the fates told Artemis to bring Ash back from the dead to prevent the wrath of Apollymi (Ash's mother and Atlantean goddess of destruction) from destroying them all. She tricked him into drinking her blood thus resurrecting him.
Ash was now dependent on Artemis needing her blood to retain his sanity and compassion. Ash was still mad at her and never wanted to speak to her again despite her constant pleas. It is later discovered that Artemis bore him a daughter but because he refused to speak to her he didn't know her until she was an adult. Finally, in a devious act of desperation, Artemis created the Dark-Hunters in order to gain Ash's attention, using his compassion against him. She forces him to come and barter (his body and attention)with her for their freedom.
Did that make any sense at all?
Hate Artie now? Please don't, she never even had a friend before... all she needs is a little human experience. Oh well.

I did not like where it was going because clearly Artie isn't ending up with him, which means she's just some sort of storyline pawn and entertainment value.
*SPOILERS*
And I say "clearly" because I've read Nick's YA series and it seems that it's heading towards a Kody/Nick (or at least that's how I see it).
