I'm doing great! [: I've got a job in management and finally have my own apartment with my Joshihuahua. We've been together going on five years this December and we're engaged! I'm not sure when we're going to get married though.. it was last year but we keep pushing it off for family reasons.
As for art though I'm really off and on, I get random spurts of motivation and inspiration and then it poots out. Bloop! How about youuuu? :'D

I'm doing well, just moved to Arizona about a month ago but just started settling down now
I've been dating this guy for a little over a year which is going well.. Life's not perfect, I have some family troubles back home that I kind of ran from but for the most part I'm doing well.

They're made of Tamarind wood in a size inch. {: I love them dearly, I had to stalk the website for months because they were never in stock but once they did, I spazzed and bought myself two pairs, in case one of them fell and broke.
They normally have more black in them, but I specifically requested a pair with the least amount of black as possible, and that's what they gave me! :D

There's a plethora of ways of getting your ears stretched out, there's expensive ways, painful ways, or really enginuitive manners.
The common way is to use an ear taper. An ear taper kind of resembles a stake you would see shoved through the heart of a vampire, haha. You slowly push this through your ear over a period of time and it will nicely stretch your ear out. But it's expensive to buy them. :[
Another way is to just buy plugs that are once size bigger over a long period of time. This is also expensive. :[
I met a girl once at a Subway and she said she 'cheated' and got her ears hole-punched. I was like WTF?? Sounds like a way more brutal way to me! haha.
The way I did it was very cheap.. I borrowed a taper from my brother's friend that went from a size 14 to a size 4. After that I used a chopstick, and when my ears got big enough I just added electrical tape to make the chopstick bigger. It looked tacky, but I had long hair that hid it for the most part..
I let my ears relax at a half an inch, but resumed stretching to the size I'm now, which is 3/4s of an inch. I just got some plugs though that are 7/8s so I shall be stretching even further! I'm stoked.
Stretching is very dependent on your body's elasticity and your pain threshold, and your patience. Some people it takes them years, some people it takes them months, and for others it can take them a matter of weeks.
Those who are impatient and do it in the matter of weeks usually have ripped their ears really bad and will probably have scarring.. haha. And will probably have issues with infection.
I did it pretty fast, it didn't take me too long, but I also tore my ears a couple of times and had them balloon up like big red cherries. (not very attractive! haha) It made it hard to sleep, hard to clean them.. When I first started stretching it hurt pretty bad, I randomly had what felt like a feverish chill on one side of my body every so often. XD
You really go through a phase where you ask yourself if it's really what you want, because the pain isn't worth it otherwise.
