The idea came from that Sonic Heroes -game...

Paula is the speed... that hedgehoggirl in the middle.
She is a so called Siren... but a student... She can make people make to do stuff what she wnat 'em to do with singing, but because she is just a student... that doesn't work every time. Nobody knows her age... not even Paula herself, 'cause she was dead for a long time, but then Chrysta woke her up. She wanted a daughter... Before she died the world was very hippie like place back then. So that's why after she was waken she was kinda lost... and got in the trouble very often... That's why her clothes are so tattered.

Chrysta is the Power... That black haired porcupine on the right.
Chrysta is a siren and very good one... so you don't wanna mess with her. She also has some other powers that she doesn't use very often... She is like an Ice Princess to people she don't know or just don't care to know, but when she shows her soft side... you can't be not liking her.

Aand... Carl is the... flying one...
He's a vampirebat... He looks kinda someone you don't wanna get near... but he really is a real gentleman and seems to never get angry. He doesn't like being in the sun, so he lives in Upside Down Castle where the sun don't never shine. It's just too hot! Blood drinking is to him like... smoking to people. He tries to quit. Exceptional mesmerising power! Likes to crawl on the wall and... is very fast wallcrawler... Then he looks like a bug...

The story...
Carl needs power... or he'll get weak and might die. They sense something in the direction of Eggman's fishships, think it might be some magical power... and they're off!
