I have to admit...i was VERY ..(oh..and I mean VERY) reluctant to submit this..simply because - well, it sucks.
This is my first time doing anything like this...I guess I really needed a break from realism..but GOD - this stuff is annoying! Soo much patience is needed to make this look good. ANYWAYYY
Yea - you can probably tell what I was thinking by some of the things in here. In my opinion..this looks to childish
Although some things do have meaning and were added for a reason, it's for you me to know why, and for you to guess. :giggles:So what do you think for my first?

hehe jk! yay.. i can COMMENT now! Ok.. i'm gona try to disect your picture... the weird thing is.. brian comes to mind! Like the person, the black shadowed guy! First thought was brian.. but then I thought mait.. and then the fishy i thought of brian.. b/c he's so.. obsessed with fishy's. The rainbow obvoiusly represnts coughGAYcough... And i loved the bit about the man coming out of the herat.. or the hands i guess... ahhh.. lost my train of thought. I don't when i looked at it.. i thought of brian the entire time. Hmmmmm... hehehe i'm tired! i can't beleive u ruined the book for me! even tho u actualy didn't anyways.. i really like this.. it's cool and colorful, that one person had a point, it looks all 70's.. -ish.

Yea - believe it or not, the heart represented people holding open their own wounds. Remember that drawig I told you I was working on? It's basically developing that idea. I hate to admit it - but I've been doing that for quite some years now, and it just hit me that I was doing it.
You thought of Brian? Trust me - that kid did NOT cross my mind when I did this. I'm no sure why I drew a fish, I did it instictively, so when I figure it out you'll be the first to know.
The balloons represented freedom..but if you notice, they're held down by DNA strands..things which we cannot control. The black and white checkers at the bottom are life's path and the consistency that people cling to so much (read: pattern)
The cone looking people are society, black and white stripes to represent imprisonment...if you think about it...there's ALOT here..which I didn't realize until after I stared..I could go on..OH YES I COULD...but i think that's enough looking into my SOULLLLL hahhahaha

Yea, I agree that the bright colors and funkiness do give it a 70s look. I'm not sureif that's a good or bad thing, I guess it's just a "style."

Haha, wow, that's definately different. I hate doing those things too...it's tooo..complicated..I'd get fustrated..you did a swell job. The balloon tied with the dna strand...smart, :-P I wouldn't have the patience for it...good work. Very whimsical.(Sp?)...woop..look at that.."Tearing of the heart" Haha, I can just stare at it for days and pick out all the little details..and still find more next week. :-P
