Description
This is a sculpture which I created in my spare time. It isn't too bad but I'm no sculptor. It was made using wire, mesh, quilt batting, calico material, natural thread, newspaper, sheer fabric and broken dvd's. It represents the cruel child hood in which millions of children suffer each and every day. The title means Trapped Illusion in Romanian and refers to the way the children are trapped in their own homes and cannot have a normal, happy childhood and the rest of the world are under the illusion that everything is fine and it can’t be that bad. The story behind the sculpture is one of a somewhat dark nature and many people do not know the feelings if the children and can’t visualise the cruelty unless they have felt it for themselves.
