the manga doesn't give hide enough panels to appear it so when he did in that chapter i fuC KING DIED IT WAS BEAUTIFUl
the anime does a better job of showing hide more though, and foreshadowing and all that

the manga made Hide a bit more mysterious, therefore can gives the vibe of a antagonistic character for some people but the anime showed him much more open and concerned (and cuter)
