Easily identifiable by their intense glowing optics and hulking power armor, the Meridianhoppers are what they say on the tin- Specialized units designed to travel through the Meridian in short distances to break into heavily fortified locations, board captured ships, or cause chaos in the defensive lines of hostile forces. While their method of deployment may be sneaky, when they reach their destination, they are anything but. As they are heavily armed as they are armored, it is common for a squad of Meridianhoppers to open fire upon enemies the moment they emerge, a small scale shock and awe tactic that is intended to cause confusion and chaos amongst defending hostiles.
