Ni Ni Froggie was taken at the Brisbane Forrest Park, Mt Nebo. The little glistening bits are tiny water drops from a special sprinkler in his cage.Related content

LOL. I still can't believe I got a shot of a frog asleep. I dunno why, but it never dawned on me that they slept.

Only that particular species. They hunt bats in the rain forrests at night over here. You can't tell from the shot, but he's about the size of a football. They don't have teeth of course, but they have a mouth that is quite beak-like. They'd certainly take off a finger and they can jump to head height easily. We just stay out of the rain forrests at night, although that's mostly because of the damn Dropbears (an aggressive type of Koala which of course isn't a bear at all, but that's another story).
