now i realize the differences in their face shape o.o
oh well who cares
i put this clear coat stuff over it for charcoal and paints etc
but i did one two many layers and the outsides started getting this cloudy white stuff which with a tiny bit of editing i got rid of but theres still a white blob in the lower right corner
...messy drawing...as in i got back stuff all over me..
medium: lines in black ink, including the coloring of his hair, the rest is in charcoal...

i like using charcoal cuz then I'm not wastig my black markers but its also kind of a pain because i always get black over like everything lol

i did the lining with ink and then i colored in the hair, and realized i couldn't possibly do it in all black without drying out my pen, plus it would take to long xD so i used some charcoal stick thing.....at like 1 in the morning lol

i use my black sharpie markers for large black spaces lol it can take forever if i do a full work. i think i might do one later though

haha yeah it is really messy i had charcoal all over my hands so i couldn't really touch the paper or BOOM BLACK spot..got all over my keyboard(bran new took a while to clean off -_-) and desk so i was cleaning everything up at like 3 in the morning.
but that could also be because i hardly ever use itΒ
but i had to put this clear coat stuff over it so if you touch it it doesn't smear or come off..

ever work with chalk pastels? theyre awesome and all... but sheesh theyre sooooo messy. i do like oil pastels though. i should get myself a set eventually... lol

yeah i do have them. when i was a lil kid like 6 7 or 8 everyone in my family was all over my "artistic ability" (though all i drew was horses...love horses) and would always get me art stuff for my birthday and stuff. but i never used any of the stuff..lol i mean i hadn't used any of that canvas till this year o.o but the pastels are fun though I've only used them once or twice.

lol that's about it for me as well. lots of art supplies for holidays as a kid. even my grade 6 teacher gave me a whole art kit once. i wish i still had it :/
my favourite to work with though is pen. i love doing pen works.Β
horses are beautiful. not something i draw often actually. dunno why. but i can do them if i really try, but i need practise lol i specialize in birds mostly

and i used to be super obsessed with horses xD now i just love them cuz they'r beautiful animals, intelligent too, but thats literally ALL i could draw up until maybe 2 or three 3 years ago. i absolutely sucked at drawing people before. then i watched avatar the last airbender. and realized how simple their faces were and bOOM no more horses

i like the techniques with pen, plus they're sharper than a pencil sketch. im better with realistic animals than i am with anime and manga drawings, but terrible with realistic people lol at least in my opinion. i just dont feel right drawing people, though i can do it
