I like all the songs. The only beef I have with the musical is that Elphie was created to be a tragic character even in Maguire's novel, so to give her a happy ending throws me off. I mean, the love her and Fiyero is meant to be similar to Romeo and Juliet in that both die, but then, awkwardness comes in if the musical says Elphie never melted (which was a core piece to both the MGM source and Maguire's novel) and especially if Fiyero became the Scarecrow, since the MGM source Maguire based Wicked off of had Dorothy crushing on the Scarecrow because of his Kansas counterpart (Hunk).
