Now that austerity measures have been lifted, I have upgraded to Carrara 8, and have been merrily rediscovering Carrara's wonders.
This was mainly put together to play with Carrara's renderer and the Morchir morphs / textures I got from RDNA recently.
I used a nice specular skin tutorial I found for Carrara, after failing miserably to get the SSS to work. I think it emulates sweaty skin quite well.
I also possibly broke one of my rendering records on this one. Well over 150 test renders went into getting this one right, and this poor bloke has had all sorts of changes, including at one point a pair of batwings...

I dunno?Β XDΒ I only have 8, not 8.5.Β So, if it's only an 8.5 thing, then I'll have to either figure another way or not worry about it and stick to the other generations or start learning how to model people in Carrara. I KNOW it can be done.Β .........I just haven't.

It comes with the Genesis figure, some hair, some scenery and some clothing, along with a few basic morphs. Β Enough to have a go and play around.
