Description
Back in the old age somewhere between the Flintstones and the Internet, I was in college getting my graphic design degree.
My professor always stressed that you should never limit yourself to one style or one subject. That it was best to be able to do as many different styles and subjects.
One of my first influences at the time was Patrick Nagel.
I saw how he could create clean figures while at the same time give them such depth.
Earlier this year, I got back into his style and thought I'd try and do one every so often to share here.
This was my first attempt since 19-cough-
It was created with Adobe Illustrator, using either the pen or pencil tool.
There were no filters used on the photo I used to base the image on.
