3fukutaicho — Still life yeah

Description I haven't posted a single oil painting this year... mainly because I take about a term to do each one nowadays and I when I finish one, the teacher displays it at his studio until I finish the next one. So it's about half a year after I started it that I actually get to take it home lol

After painting landscapes for a year my teacher got me to paint still lifes again, and now I'm painting my first portrait. It takes a lot of concentration to paint a forehead in 3 hours you know? XD

So about this picture... oil on canvas... it's pretty big, about 60 x 70 cm?

And since I took about a term, each term is 10 weeks, every week for 3 hours that'd be 30 hours or something. IDK it's been ages and I don't realy bother to count the hours anyway.

I'm aiming to be able to CG at the same level as I can work traditionally... it's all for that dream career hah hah

I think painting fabrics are easier traditionally than digitally... actually I think everything's easier traditionally lol, I'm still noob at digital XD
