The forms are the same, just the topic is different, the Tanka is the oldest form of Oriental poetry, it has 5 lines, 5 syllables for the first and third lines, 7 syllables for the other 3 lines. They were originally used as coded messages between lovers in the 13 century for love note as well as wishes for special days like holidays. Keep writing as I enjoy yoiur wor :0

Sometimes, small things speak in great volumes, and this does to me. Probably because I never get enough sleep (on a litteral note), and people are always pestering me for something at work.
