i have two interpretations of this. the first is that the rhymes are random to show how poets who use rhymes and set syllable really let the rhyme and syllable rules themselves be the poem and are led from one word to the next by the rhyme and not the meaning.

the other is that there is meaning here, even random words are not random and have meaning, something causes these specific phrases to arise, the contrast of water and oil in the beginning as if they don't mix might have some meaning to it

Yeah, there is a bit of a contrast isn't there? (We have learned enough times in chem that water and oil don't mix, haha.) But yeah, I was just making a list of random words with similar syllables that rhymed, and I thought "hey, this could be poetry" ...
