I've literally spent the last 2 months just getting BURIED with university work and commish stuff (that I can barely find time for)
I need to just go straight to working on the graphic novel at this point if I want to have something ready for 2020.

Aww dude, I kinda figured you must be super busy! Great things take time though, and I'm always so impressed with how quickly you do churn out incredible quality work (less that it's done fast, more that you're so dedicated to making the progress happen, and that's awesome). I will admit, I have been kinda "when are we gonna see the pages?? GIMME STORY!" hahahah!

The mood here is amazing! I can hear the cars honking, seagulls and the clinking of the docks, maybe a foghorn in the distance!
I love how you made the city in the background fade into the fog near the bottom, you convey so much without cluttering the canvas with unnecessary little details! You have just the right amount!
Also, please keep Magneto, Godzilla and apes away from the bridge due to safety concerns!
