Description
I have been developing a fan-made Pokemon Game in PowerPoint (yes, you heard right) for 10+ years, and even though I may never be able to publish it due to the Pokemon Companies copyright laws, I still want to share my in-game Pokemon artwork with fellow Pokemon fans.
Personally, I struggle raising a growing family in these trying times (loving fiancee plus young son plus even younger daughter makes for a very crazy, hectic, insane and fulfilling life). Autism Spectrum is also a big part of my life (for better and worse) And I hope to become a fantasy adventure book writer someday!
Working on my PokeGame is my passion, tracing Pokemon artwork is what I enjoy, and my name is Bloodrose.
My goal is not to catch them all, but to draw them all using a unique style that I came up with after many failed attempts, most of which are on my page currently (doesn't mean they haven't been done before)
Welcome to the beginning of my DeviantArt journey. After almost a year of "random" uploads, I have finally found my niche. I look forward to the future.

Gyarados's in-game information:
Rarity: Uncommon
I have barely begun in finalizing/play-testing my game. Arceus, which is the main villain, controls many Pokemon for his massive army, and Gyarados is one of the Pokemon you may encounter within his ranks. The respective Water Kanto gym and Kanto Flying gym also have Gyarados in them that you may battle to obtain their badges. If you find a Gyarados Nest, you may encounter Gyarados trying to defend the eggs within, and once you reach the nest the eggs are exclusively Magikarp eggs. Magikarp evolves into Gyarados by leveling up, and if Gyarados dies in battle it may automatically evolve into Mega Gyarados and all of its health and status reset to full health. Kind of like a second chance to kick some bass.

Personal challenge of mine:
If I had to play my fan-game with only a Magikarp and its evolution lines, how would it do?

This Kanto Region water/flying Pokemon was pretty intresting to draw.
So I looked at a drawing. I can't remember which, and it had this weird looking effect where the only line art was for the image outline and then every single different color was outlined. I thought it looked cool, and wondered why I never thought of that. So, I gave it a shot and experimented on Bulbasaur. It came out looking amazing, and I desperately wanted to make more!
But I didn't want to upload too fast... So I took my time. Thought about it over a few days. Made every Kanto starter and their evolutions, and then made my decision. It's time for a revamp! These are the drawings that will go into my game! Also, they are very easy to make, too. Gyarados was pretty hard to draw. There are a lot of little pieces, and lots of shading... But I finally got it, and it looks good! I think I found my match!
Hope you like it!

My style of drawing these pictures is a bit choppy, but It's how I've done them for 10+ years.
It shows that, rather than using a drawing format to make clean lines and get the pictures done quickly, I'd rather hand, or in this case, mouse-draw them in PowerPoint.
It gives each drawing a personal touch that, I very much hope, says "I am passionate about these drawings, and even if they take over an hour, I'd rather put the effort in and get to know each drawing personally than POOF! It's done! Time to upload and move on!"
...Yeah, not my style.
