Hey Guys!
I am so very sorry about being inactive over the past month, i have been really busy irl over the past month with art exams but if you guys like i'm happy to post my pieces for my exams. The other thing is christmas presents, i AM working on them all, as you may imagine to complete 25 pictures when you are really busy is difficult.
In other news i reached 300 watchers

This is my piece for SlightlyMads's Annual All Show Jumping Competition, I am entering Ducky and Comet for some show experience to get ready for the AUSE Olympics this year, and I am also entering Justin and Cherry so they get a little more show experience.
In this image Luke and Ducky are training for the Maiden Class and Match Race, and Ducky decided to nope out of going over this jump

Also I kind of changed the style of my backgrounds a little, rather than only using block colours and terrible shading I used lineart and much better shading, also i feel like ducky himself turned out really nicely too.

Story (402 words):

It was the day after they arrived at Slightly Mad Stables, the day seemed to last forever. It was quite a crisp and peaceful morning, and there was the occasional neigh coming from the Trulli. Despite the cold start to the morning there was not a single cloud in the skies and it slowly began to get warmer. This was Ducky's first time at a show, he seemed really chilled out about it and seemed to love making friends with all the other horses that were around.
Luke decided that today he should do some training to get Ducky used to the atmosphere and surroundings, and also to make sure Ducky will be good to go the next day. He tacked up Ducky and led him out the trulli to the outdoor arena, this would be the arena that Luke and Ducky would be competing in the next day. The scenery was really nice, there was a forest and some mountains in the distance, and it was just a beautiful day in general. Evie had agreed to help Luke with Ducky, she set up a small cross pole to warm Ducky in, he did look at it quite a lot but he jumped it fine, they continued until they reached 1m10, this was higher than what Ducky would compete in the next day but it was good practice for him, he had jumped 1m40 before so the height wasn't too bad. Luke set Ducky up with a nice flowing and rhythmical canter, Ducky had gotten into a habit of rushing to the jumps but Luke managed to hold him back, they kept the rhythm nicely. Evie watched from the side counting with each stride 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1, ...2 crash. Ducky ducked out the jump and knocked the poles down, just to make fun of the situation Luke just said "ha ha lol nope" which made Evie laugh. "Luke, do you know what went wrong there" Evie asked. "Yeah I think so, because Ducky rushes to jumps i guess he felt like he didn't have enough momentum to get over the jump because i was holding him back." Luke explained "Sounds about right, try again but keep the momentum and try not to let him go too fast" Evie advised him. They continued the session and there were no more problems, they were ready to compete the next day.
