Description
It's finally here! Jona's new ref sheet! this took a while but it's here! Before I get into the bio though, I just want to clarify one thing. I've always planed on Jona having her own little AU with her own story. And now that Joey Drew is canonically confirmed to have a grandniece, it leaves more room for potential! What would happen if his niece found out abt the studio? We don't know much about her so what is he like? So expect to see Jona a bit more often because with hr I pan to explore these ideas more! Anyway, her's the Bio!
Name: Jona Drew
Age: 9 years old
Parents/Family: Joey Drew (Grand Uncle), (parents will be revealed soon)
Friends/Allies: Henry Stein(Friend/Protector), Bon bon (Friend/"Sidekick"), Boris aka Buddy (Friend), Alison and Tom (Friends/Protectors)
Rivals/Enemies: Ink Bendy, Sammy Lawrence, Alice (Susie) Angel, The Projectionist, The Butcher Gang, and The Searchers
Personality: Jona Drew is a sweet and well-meaning little girl but don't let that fool you! She's quite the trouble maker and can't resist some good mischief! Which usually gets her into trouble. She's also very smart for her age being pretty good at problem-solving and thinking outside of the box. She's also very imaginative in that regard and is very creative. She's also a big dreamer, looking for the day she grows up and is very passionate about her hobbies. Though when it comes to more important things in life like chores and school, she has a low attention span and couldn't be less interested. But regardless, when the time calls for it she will try to do the right thing.
Likes: Jona has a number of favorite activities. Watching cartoons and movies, reading comic books, and playing with her toys. Though, being a tomboy, it's not the typical "house" or "tea parties". Instead, she likes to go on high fantasy adventures or reenact her favorite scenes from movies. But her most major pastimes are woodcarving, sewing, and drawing. Woodcarving was taught to her by her Dad, sewing by her Mom, and was inspired by her Uncle to draw. And wants to create big things when she's older!
Dislikes: Mostly stuff that most kids don't like, such as responsibilities like chores and school because she finds them boring and would rather do something more fun with her time. She also doesn't like it when people, adults especially, keep secrets from her. And will try to find answers herself if none are being given to her. Most of all, she doesn't like being told what to do and doesn't like being thought of as just a child who doesn't know any better or can't stick up for herself. She wants more than anything to be independent and to be respected and treated equally.
Bio/Backstory: Jona Is the niece of Joey Drew. When she was little, her Uncle Joey would give her VHS tapes of the old Bendy cartoons. He also gave her some of the merch that never sold. But, as the years went by, she saw less and less of Joey but couldn't understand why. He hardly communicated with her parents or other family members so there wasn't really any way for her to know how he was doing. Until one day, her parents told her that she would be staying at her Uncle Joey's place for a couple of days. Jona decided to bring her wood carving set and a sewing kit with her so she could show her Uncle what she could make. Then that day, her mom dropped her off. When she arrived she was greeted welcomingly by Joey. He made her lunch and told her stories just like he used to. But the sentiment didn't last long until Joey said that he had some work to take care of and that it would take a while. So he left Jona alone where she noticed...the door. This strange door that she remembered from her previous visits. She would always ask Joey about the door only for him to respond with half-hearted answers or to ignore the question entirely. This frustrated her for years and it only seemed to fuel her curiosity more and more. But now that she was alone, she had the perfect opportunity to answer her questions herself. "What was behind the door?" "Why won't Uncle Joey tell me?" "Was he keeping secrets from me?" "What is he hiding?" After a while of snooping, she found the key to unlock it and opened the door. And when she did, she couldn't believe her eyes, it was her Uncle's old studio! Just like in his stories! So, wanting to find out if they were true, she entered the studio. She was a bit nerved considering it's extremely old and rundown. After wandering around the studio for a while she found both pleasant and...not so pleasant surprises. But soon she came across the Ink Machine it'self! Despite the room being boarded up, she wanted to get a closer look. That was a mistake because as soon as she tried to peek she came face to face with the Ink Demon! Frightened, she ran for the exit but fell through the floor instead. Surprisingly, she was okay, and that's when she knew she had to find another way out of herself. She continued to explore the studio. But she wouldn't be safe for long, she would keep getting attacked by searchers! Luckily, she still had her purse with the stuff she brought. So she used her woodcarving knife as a weapon! She continued to fight back but she was overwhelmed so she ran off to look for a place to hide while still being chased by the ink monsters. That's when she ran into Henry. She frantically explained to him that she was being attacked so he told her where to hide and then he fought off the searchers himself. After that, they started to get acquainted and explained their situations to each other. Henry told Jona that since he was also trying to find a way out that it would be best if she stayed with him. To which, she agreed. And from that point forward Henry tried his best to protect Jona despite her having the tendency to wander off and her eventually wanting to try and fight herself. Jona also being curious about the studio, helped Henry uncover it's secrets and would try to look on the bright side of things despite them both being hunted down by the Ink Demon. But little did Jona know, that due to the fact that she's a child, her body was more susceptible to the ink and its curse. So she is slowly being transformed into an ink creature herself.
