Well, actually I haven't played this, nor ever will, 'cause I have no Wii and pretty goddamn well will never get it

Still, I've read the reviews and watched some cutscenes, and I gotta say, the cinematics remind me of Mass Effect, but the gameplay reminds me of Splosion Man

Anyway, this is what happens when you no longer know wtf to do with your franchise, although I've always thought Metroid was one of the most goddamn clever ideas, lately, the series has been rotting into crap, and no, even though Team Ninja co-developed it, I don't think it's entirely their fault, although, Nintendo should've known better, 99% of TN's storylines involve the greatest breasts dynamics

I've come to two conclusions of why Metroid has declined:

1. Samus' sociopathy/muteness. Well, as you know, the big N hasn't always been a fan of talking characters, Samus included, until Other M, which gave her this whole range of sickly girly emotions, I think she needed her personality developed way earlier, ever since Metroid Prime, or at least social interactions ever since, as you see, Mario started those ever since Mario 64, Samus should've been like that ever since her jump to 3-D, though like Mario, she should still have a limited dialogue, in her case, she could be a really cold sociopathic bitch instead of a retarded plumber

2. The Zero Suit. I don't think anyone with balls would ever complain about the Zero Suit, neither do I, but I noticed that Nintendo may have underestimated the ZS's popularity, that got Nintendo in a pickle, Samus was getting more popular WITHOUT her powersuit than with it, but you just can't strip the power suit from the series! That's what makes Samus, well, SAMUS, right? So nowadays, Nintendo doesn't know what the shit to do with poor Sam

Well, my humble suggestion is that Nintendo should like, separate the suit from the hot babe, dunno, maybe the suits become some sort of cybernetic crap or something (Metroid Fusion is a good place to pick up from there), also, well, reinstate Sammie's "Badass Hunter" persona, this drama crap is way too much.

Or they could just give the whole rights to Capcom, anything they touch becomes gold and Nintendo should stick to making kiddie games
