Jasper is a striped Hyena that I adopted from EyesInTheDark666 .
I did pay for her, she is mine!!! Unless you have written to me and gotten MY permission to use her for your personal use then you are not allow to use her.

Species: Stripped Hyena
Personality: Stubborn, hard headed, impulsive, confident, hates being wrong, Intelligent, not afraid of fight. In fact is known for being the one to start them. Does not trust humans in the beginning, in fact has a hatred of them that over time Lilly, her mate, helps her get over. Paranoid, usually questions others motives (She expects for others to betray her. When they don't it confuses her.) to those close to her she becomes protective, and is awkward when being kind. She is loyal and would rather sacrifice herself then betray those she loves.
Bio: Jasper is an animal were. Meaning she was born a Hyena and then learned to take human form when she hit puberty. She was born in Africa to a clan of Were-Hyena's. In fact she was the daughter of the leader of the Risa Clan that dwells in their animal forms along the Serengeti Plains of Africa the majority of their lives. In their animal forms they have kept their presence from the humans hidden for thousands of years.
Jasper's birth was not under the best circumstances. Her mother was betrothed to a neighboring Stripped Hyena clan in hopes of peace being made. Before her mother was even aware she was pregnant, the beautiful female learned of her mates love for another female. As much as it tore her up inside Talia broke off the arrangement and gave them her blessing before going back to lead her own clan alone.
A month later Thalia learned she was carrying a single pup. She was torn on rather or not to give her pup up, but in the end when she was beginning to show, the female came to terms with the thought of becoming a mother. She only prayed that it would be a female that could take her place and lead the clan.
To her joy, when Jasper was born she rejoiced to see that she indeed had birthed a female, the next leader for the clan. But Jasper proved to be hell on wheels even as a cub. The young Hyena was curious about everything and proved to be a natural born leader.... Even if she did not always make the best decisions. She was bossy and challenged her mother on her choices on what she thought best fo the clan.
She had just entered adulthood, 118 years old, when she became fed up with the war between her clan and the human born were's on the edge of her clan's territory. naive enough to believe she could simply talk to the enemies clan and fix all the problems, she decided to take a small group that agreed with her, and spoke out against the leader. But unfortunately that backfired....
Jasper watched as her friends fell to their deaths by those human born were's. They feared those animal born. Before she could process the failure the female Hyena was injected with something that caused her to black out.
She came to in her animal form, a collar secured around her neck that prevented her from taking human form.
Her mother was torn with rescuing her daughter and making sure her clan was safe. It was with a heavy heart she left her only daughter to the cruel fate the humans had planned for her.

Jasper, Unable to take human form, learned of her situation and knew right away she was on her own and would receive no help from her birth clan. The humans expected her to fight her own kind, which was easy for her until years later when she was pitted against an old clan mate.
The two of them had been close, even as cubs, since they were born of a little so close in age. He had been there for three years, same as her. He had become Feral, nothing more then a rabid animal.
Face to face in battle the young Hyena had desperately tried to reason with him, but to no avail. In the end she had to take one of her clan mates with her own claws. But she had not come out of it unscathed. The young male had done more then his share of damage to her.
Japer truly believed death had come for her that day. His fangs had sank into the softer parts of her neck while she struggled to put distance between herself and him. But in doing so the male had made sure that she was bleeding heavily.
Believing herself dead, Jasper managed to drag herself away and laid in the hot desert, a few feet from a body of water, waiting for death. That is when a miracle happened.

A young human female approached the river to fill a clay jug/vase with water when she spotted the stripped Hyena close to death. Without thinking she dropped the jug/vase and ran to the unconsious Hyena. She made sure Jasper was still alive before taking her to her hut in her village.

Nursed back to health, Jasper began to slowly recover from the attack. Once she was back on her paws, completely healthy, Jasper tried several times to disappear. But each time she tried she found herself pulled back to the strange female that saved her life. In the end, once Jasper had her full strength, she tried to desperately disappear from Lilly's life. But in no time at all the Hyena realized the two of them needed each other. She found herself staying around the human born Hyena more, found that she was always on her mind. In no time at all the two of them had become mates and would eventually have an adopted were-child together.
