i like the shallownes of it alot
the blue tint is perfect and the pic wouldn't have the same emotive efect without it
on the other hand though the contrast of the red lips
makes it interesting
all around great

Damn, this is awesome.

the wash fits perfectly.
I love the red.
and the unfocused stars make it look dreamish.

i think the blue tones kick ass. i think her tattoos balance the picture out and at the same time give it an awesome, whimsical feeling. loverly lips.

Far from sucking, i like most everything bout this photo, the shallow depth of field, the lipstick against the tattoos against the background...my only criticism would be something I believe somebody already mentioned - that the focus should be on those luscious lips.

I like the depth of field but feel like the focus should be more on the mouth--right now it feels like it's on the skin on her cheeck, which, although not bad, isn't the best spot for it. Everything else pleases me, however--the cropping is brilliant, limited depth of field provides orgionality, and the blue wash really brings out the tattoos so I say, yeah, it works. The experimenting is good, and I like the result.

What I said was this is intense Great colors, love the depth of field and grain. Disturbing mesh between elegance and counter-culture.

This isn't the face I'd expect with that much ink.
