Samantha is an Arabian mare that I knew when I was volunteering at a horse ranch several years ago. Her owner wanted me to make a drawing of her and here she is. In the original picture Samantha is running down the arena so there is fencing and road and street lights and telephone poles and other ranch houses in the background. really well done piece of art!
the only thing that i noticed, just for future reference, the legs are a bit too rigid and need just a hint more of a flowing movement....but you know this is really an awesome piece!!!

yes I agree totally....I remember having a lot of issues with the legs based on the photo I was given. I'll have to hunt it down somewhere and post it for comparison sakes.

that would be cool....legs are really hard to draw just right...but I still think this is a fantastic piece
