VLMK...? Their initials aren't very pronounceable.

The previously promised staircase version will be along shortly, pending Saeru's approval. So...for now, we get them standing around on graphical spirals - which really shows off their cool spiky outlines much better anyway.

This is kinda like our fanart of our own characters, I suppose - all done in traditional media in our regular style.

Dude, but if you say 'KMLV' it sounds like a radio station! Or 'Kim Love.'

I tried a vastly different style of inking for this entire project, basing it off the idea of the rough-yet-crisp graffiti look you see on walls. Glancing at many different photographs of wall-art varying from Tokyo to Toronto, I wanted to give the lines a warped perspective via varying thicknesses (think like trying to shade block letters stylistically,) so I essentially put down more ink where there were folds or dynamic changes, but with respect to the horizon.

This was also one of my first attempts of actually drawing characters within a set one-point perspective, in order to get them to actually fit within our background. (I worked them in on a piece of velum over the initial BG sketch, then retraced the velum onto good paper and added details.)

The result was very stylized, and I was rather pleased. ^.^
