Incredible, the stories a face can tell. And you've done a wonderful job capturing this one. Some don't want to grow old, to have lines and wrinkles and scars... but I think old age can be so graceful, and so wise.

You know what I feel, when I look into his face ?!?
It's his experience, knowledge about the surrounding world that overwhelms me.
... And those eyes that seem to know my moves even before I can make them...

Wow! I love this photo. The look in his eyes tells me that he has been through many hard times. The black and white format really helps to portray this feeling.

What have those eyes seen, what has that monument of a nose smelled, that generous mouth tasted? How many expressions of love, sadness & laughter have left their tracks on his head?
& how many have tapped into his knowledge & expereience, valued & respected the opinion & wisdom accumulated down the years? Not enough, I suspect...
Like all well-chosen & recorded images, you can't help but ask questions of the image & of yourself.
Powerful stuff!
