Princess Luna, getting her groove on and having a good time.The back left leg is really bugging me. The layout of her cutie mark indicates to me she's probably not standing on it. But I just don't know what the position really is, and the episode didn't enlighten me with this information either. I've tried three layouts, and only this one looked reasonably close with the information I have and made me happy with the pose.

The legs are accurate to the source reference. I'd have to check it against other images to see if e.g. there was an animation error.

It's quite an interesting design. I remember I used a red or purple outline temporarily for a pony - not sure if it was Luna or Nightmare. The result was a little like what you did - it looked surprisingly good.
