Well, these two are meant to be mysterious. But as far as it goes, they've simply just lived for over 1000 years. Time is relative. They're mortals too,but...just ones that last longer I suppose. Doesn't mean their immortal, but it's understandable why some would think that. Sea sponges live to be over 500, but they still met their ends. Immortality is just a random theory. If they were eternal, they'd be...i don't know around billions of years old? It's stated their not the only ones with the ability to raise the sun and moon, so.... I mean if anyone lived for 1000 years they would be wise and have influence over the world too.....Wouldn't be a big deal if they were eternal, but they pretty much...aren't. Actually, in a way we all are. We have souls, and energy never dies.
That's that i guess....we all know how fan bases get....
Anyways, forgive my long statements, great work here 90SIGMA! Just like Faust's style! Hope you're still at your peak! Keep it up!
If I could offer a suggestion, if you still do this stuff, it'd be cool if you did a scene where Celestia shields Luna in Nightmare Moon form by holding her close and takes a near fatal blow (obviously without all the blood). That would be pretty cool. (would also be awesome if the one who was trying to hurt Luna, in Nightmare Moon form (not before the end of the season 1 premiere) was trying to eliminate her, deeming her as an evil that must be destroyed)

I'm not sure as to whether Celestia and Luna are immortal, per se. There are so mnay downsides to being immortal I'm not sure if anyone would willingly take it.
However, I do believe Cadance and Twilight are not immortal.
