and the bg is like a different dimension and damien is trapped in darkness, and right here, he's supposed to be breaking the barrier that locks him away xD kinda wierd, i know..
yeah i kinda wanted him to blend in with the bg but still be able to tell him apart xD

First off, I absolutely LOVE how the nose looks. And the way you used the smudge tool is fantastic, it goes right along in the direction of the fur. Your anatomy is really good too, but the pose is my favorite thing about this picture. It's at the perfect angle. I really like how the background starts to fade into black in the top left corner, and the design at the bottom is very unique~ c:
The only things that you could have fixed is the right paw, it looks like one of the toes is a little smaller than it should be, but when you look at it, maybe it's just the little paw pad...I'm not sure. The lines are an advantage, but also a disadvantage. The lines help me see the character, but they kind of make the picture look a little less realistic. For instance, just on the cyan parts, it looks a little weird.
Overall, you did an outstanding job, and the character is stunning. c;
