I actually like how this one came out...(which is rare for me)I always adored Zygarde's design, I was just rather disappointing with his crappy ability and low stats (considering he's a legendary) but anyways still a favorite regardless

I love how intimidating his teeth look in this portrayal. In the official art he doesn't appear to have a mouth.

I personally am not a fan of his new forms honestly. I think they should have just stuck with the snake theme. One looks like a transformer and the other like a sparkle dog haha.

I prefer the original over both. They just dont make sense to me, like they dont relate to the original in any way beside color scheme.

Yes, I wish they had continued the serpentine form, or at least made it more dragon like. Although the forms are random they have reason to their madness. 10% form is a wolf based on Fenrir , Loki's son (yes the Avengers guy from Norse myth).
The 50% form is a combination of the letter Z, the Norse Ground Snake , and the Ouroboros (a self cannibalizing snake that balances nature). Also, the tail reflects DNA's essential building blocks, codons , and has ribose and deoxyribose patterns.
According to Hamstern , Perfect form is based on Hel who is dead on one half of her body (the red of Yvelta) and alive on the other (the blue of Xerneas).
Hope it makes a little more sense, I just learned this.
