Description ...Oh, the age of the inmates
I remember quite freely:
No younger than twelve,
No older 'n seventeen.
Thrown in like bandits
And cast off like criminals,
Inside the walls,
The walls of Red Wing....

The building is perfect great shot. Its to bad the bird weren't flying the other way.

lighting is not superb, and the contrast is too weak. It has potential though.

beautiful building. i think i might like it better if some of the sky was cropped out so there would be more focus on the building, but overall, nicely done.

i like how the building looks dark and creepy, whilst the sky is really blue, it provides a nice contrast

thanks, as i understand it it's been many things, It was orignally part of a hospital and then it was used as a pool hall and cinema (all the seats, screens and tables are still in situ inside) It was then used as offices for the London and Manchester Assurance group and it now lays derelict.

Wow, I bet it won't stay unused for too long. It's a wonderful building! And I really love how you captured the flock flying over the roof--the birds add sort of an adrenaline to this scene per se. I love it!

Great angle and location! What did this used to be? Really a creepy shot, especially with the birds... adds to the atmosphere.

Great angle and you've captured the architecture brilliantly...but not so sure about the birds myself.

Great textures.

The contrast of the colors seems a bit odd to me though.
