Just moments after watching it nom on some bamboo leaves for a few minutes it decided it was time for resistance training, climbing a tree, in its new home. Local zoo is doing a major overhaul on its exhibits right now. The red panda family has new homes and exercise equipment now.Lesser panda? Himalayan raccoon? Fox Bear? Firefox? Bamboo foot? Cuvier came across one of these little buggers in 1825, about 48 years before the Giant Panda was cataloged and nobody, not even him, could settle on a name. Yet when the B&W giants were found we just settled on 'panda'.
