What a beautiful picture.
I just lost my best friend too, Ruby.
I was wondering what kind of dog your Bud was because he looks a lot like my Ruby and I haven't seen any other dogs that really resemble her.

Good use of DOF, but the reflection of the window in the eye is distracting. Could use a little heightening of the tones.

You can do it in an image manipulation program like Photoshop or The Gimp by adjusting the contrasts metre.

He's beautiful. And I love this picture, the dog is quite a poser, I wish mine was half that cooperative. You're lucky to have had him, he's lovely.

Well there has been times when he doesn't want his picture taken, he'd just turn his head the other way so I wouldn't then.
Thank You.

Such a lovely shot of a sweet dog. I would say what I like about the shot, but I think thats not the point here.
Although I wouldn't advise taking advice from me on the matter; there's nothing wrong with emotion. Let it out, even in small bursts, from chatting to taking photographs to writing. Whatever. Muting your output is no doubt another option, but its more destructive than constructive. What would he want for you.
If I crossed the line, I'm sorry, I only mean to help.

You haven't crossed a line. The reason I was trying not to let it out in the comments is because it look a while to get through my photos and look at photos of him. My heart hurts so much right now, if I started I wouldn't be able to stop.
Sometimes you just want to let it out but then actually writing it or saying it just makes it more real than you want it be.

Good, I was worried for a while that I had. Yeah, that seems to be the best thing to do (not that I would know, I don't want to give you that impression).
Its a catch twenty-two; left inside it will fester but vented, everything just seems more solidified. I hope you feel better soon.
