Having only recently seen an Eclipse since the 21st of August, 2017, this just helps provide perspective as to how immense of a presence an Eclipse can be. Seeing how much of a range the Moon's shadow casts upon the planet itself brings about a true sense of awe. The sheer scale depicted in this photo just shows just how insignificant we are compared to the immense powers of the universe and its inner workings.
