FINALLY MOAR COMIC PAGES ARE BEING MADE!!!!!!!!!
These things take, like, an EXTRAORDINARY amount of time to color. 
WHAT'S THIS? CYNDER is in this comic? And she's....BLACK AND RED?...well frankly, she's a dark, dull purple. My idea is that (and bear with me here) Master Eon wanted to completely hide Cynder's Kurosian ancestry (if you know *WeirdHyena you'll know what I mean; they were considered an evil race) so without much hesitation he pretty much made her purple and pink.
HOWEVER! For this comic I wanted to make her purple MUCH less striking and return her to her older color scheme, with only a HINT of purple based on that headcannon. I just feel like for an Undead Skylander, her black and red color scheme should have been restored. BUT NOPE! And now we have Phantom Cynder; a solid mass of purple tits.

So Whirlwind seems to be on a "loner streak". WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG HERE?!

And i must i say i do regret THAT I DIDN'T DO THAT EARLIER!
Your work in this comic is as great as i'm ashamed i haven't appreciated it enough yet! D:
I don't follow a lot of comics, only specially selected ones that i come across, but your comic is now definitely one of them!
(actually i can only think of like 3 comics that i'm actively following at the moment!)
What i like very much about your comic is that even tough i still haven't played any skylanders game yet (shame on me),
i still can identify and feel with the characters!
I didn't dare to fully read the comic yet because i thougt i wouldn't be able to understand the story and character,
but i was so wrong!
Quality wise: The way your drawing style works with the characters is incredibly cute! (Especially whirlwind < 3)
On the first few pages i still had to get used to your handwriting, but the more i did read the easier it was,
and on the newest pages i can read it better than my own handwriting!
The story seemed a bit clichΓ© at first, but it really caught my attention and i'm looking forward to see how it develops and what you make of it!

I have a quick question regarding speech bubbles.
As i'm not a comic maker myself (yet) i noticed, that every comic i see does the speech-text differently.
In your case you use speech bubbles. I once did read somewhere that the "tails" of the bubbles should point towards the speakers mouth.
But in your case they point towards the character. So do you have any advice for me with speech-bubbles?
I can't find my source now where i did read that mouth-thing, and i'm really fine with the way you do the texts!
I didn't even think about that until this page, which is a good thing because that means that the texts seem natural!
The important thing is that the bubbles are not distracting from the rest and that the text is easy to read, and it is!
I really like the quality of your comic! ;D
Story wise i feel something important happening soon.
Well of souls = undead.
cynder = undead. (at least her sad face makes me die, but as i'm still writing i must be undead too)
ghost roaster = undead.
the comics title = "undying" (close enough!)
I'm not saiing there is a connection with all that, but i wouldn't be surprised if there was!

But wow,Β that's AWESOME.Β I wasn't sure just how much I should describe each character, since it's aimed mostly towards the fans of the games, but I'm SO GLAD that someone like you who hasn't even touched Skylanders was still able to follow the story and not be utterly confused XD I plan to tell their stories more as the comic goes on. 
Eeeee! Well, I never knew speech bubbles HAD to be pointed directly towards the mouth. Sometimes it can be difficult drawing the tail pointing towards the mouth, especially if the face is forward and the speech bubble is at the top of the panel. I think you can get away with just having the tail pointed towards the character with their mouth open, that way people can still tell who's talking and saying what.
The coloring of the speech bubbles is based on each character's element--Spyro, Sparx and Pop Fizz are Magic so they have a light purple; Cynder, Hex and Ghost Roaster are Undead so they have gray, and Whirlwind is Air so her speech is sky blue.
...ehehehe, I'm glad you picked up on that. The comic is centered mostly around the Undead and for many reason too, but I think that'll be further explained as the story goes on >:3 all in all, Thank you SO much!!!

Ooooh, I love your backstory stuff with Cynder, and the way she and Hex are interacting is pretty close to my own headcanon for them.

I always thought of Hex being a mother figure to Cynder o3o they recently released another Skylanders novel with both Cynder and Hex in it. I'm REALLY interested in that one
