Daaang I haven't made an updated ref for my girl since 2012?? I'm a horrible character parent wow. lol. And I never even made one for Apollo, that's definitely gotta change before summer is up!Not a huge amount has changed for her design since then, just some small anatomical changes on the wings, she has more head frills now, her stripes don't reach all the way up her side now, etc. Colors are all the same, pretty much! I can draw her in better detail now and with better style than before because of improvements in my skill level since then, horay!
hahaHope this is clear and easy to understand and use!
Sketched in corel painter 2018, everything else was done in SAI!

Wow, this ref is seriously good! I like the variety of drawings, showing her in different poses and also some of her features, very clever to add that. I love the one where you drew her from behind. Overall, I think that you've improved her looks.

Thank you! That way, people can see how to draw the character from multiple directions. If I wanted to be really thorough a full turnaround would be a good idea, but those are very challenging and I don't think its completely necessary in this case

Haha, I can see that. I have been looking at a ton of different styles, and most of the artists are good at getting the proportions roughly well, but not so often to the small detail. I like the proper details and angles on characters that you have though, they are very well done.

I worked on this on and off for 3-4 days, I think? Anywhere from 2-3 hours each time. So roughly 12 hours?? Sorry I don't have the exact answer!
