ANIMEEEEEEEEEE OMG CAN YOU BELIVE IT ITS BEEN SO FREAKIN LONG SINCE I DREW ANIMEEEEEEEEEE!!! That last episode..... SnK is my favorite now, despite the sucky animation at times and the character development jerks. I have so many words to express regarding my love for SnK but i just cant. It will take too long to type orz. Nyway, about the artwork: Mikasa looked so intense in this scene... and immediately after- calm. I was feeling frustrated with myself at the time I drew this, hence I chose this Mikasa and not the sexy looking calm one. Meh.
Anywho, this is drawn with Copic Multiliners on sketchbook paper. I did a pencil sketch first, for the guides, which i erased at the end. Also, I used a "used" tortillion for smudging in some dark skin shadow thingies.
Last but not the least, RIP my dear 0.1 multiliner. It couldnt stand the torture of scratching away at each and every hair strand that exists on her HUGE head.

I love how this looks like the anime design, but follows' the feel of the manga's art! Mixing the two definitely produces unique SNK fan-art, and this one was done very well

i dont like the way the art is in the manga, tbh. i love teh animation that they do in the anime, which is why i will wait another 2 years for the next season xDDD
